Outfit Details: Vintage came fur coat (similar), booties – Nine west, shirt – hm, jeans – American eagle
One of the things I love is when I can wear the furs I have in my closet. I love faux fur it’s my favorite. But what special about this coat is the fact that it’s a vintage piece in which I scored 3 years ago in a flea market on 39th street. I instantly had to get this coat because of the color and the style. Honestly is so me from the length, color and fit. I won’t lie I couldn’t wear it before because I was a bit thicker and it would not close but surprisingly now I can wear it anytime woohoo. Remember how i stress on all my post to invest in pieces you can keep and wear at all times. Well this is one of them, when you spend your money, wear it as much as you want. Also, Ready for the price I got it, only $65 dollars and yes you read that right! I would never let it go. However, the best way to wear it is with jeans , booties and a plain black dressy shirt or a dress.
I think that the less you wear the better you are So that when anyone looks at you all the attention is on the coat. I got so many questions from people in the street. Additionally, I attended a Networking event in queens and honestly I was so comfortable and warm. I’m just glad I can wear some of the fun things I have in my closet. Therefore no matter what never get rid of some of garments you have just cause you can’t fit in them, try waiting around when it’s back in style because for some reason the styles go in a circle and come right back. Long camel coat with fur were not a thing some winters ago and now boom it’s back. Same way with leopards, python prints are all back and I’m loving it. You can wear it anyway you prefer; just make sure you let the piece make the statement in which that’s what I did with this look.
