Even though it’s super cold in NYC, I’m preparing myself for spring in which is next month. In more day will enter March and hopefully the weather starts rise up for us. At the same time, I’m trying to change around my closet with some light jackets that have prints that I can wear with many of my outfits. This jacket is light but so cute because it can be worn with jeans like I have it or dresses and skirts. I love color blocking because it spices up your wardrobe in so many ways. For my style and taste I combined with some ankle jeans, booties and a white tank top. It’s simple yet comfortable but very chic. Making the transition from heavier coats to lighter jackets makes it much easier . The reason why is because winters are already super hard and trying load your clothing with light pieces can a pain specially when the weather is fluctuating in some parts of the world.
Therefore my biggest advice is slowly change your heavier coats to light jackets that can still keep you warm. Add a warm sweater that a light color and you have a nimble outfit. As for shoes, it hard to wear flats, any Sandals, so the best thing to do is wear your booties with all your spring outfits. Changing your clothes is always a challenge but little by little as the weather gets better you can start wearing the things you prefer. What I’m loving about this jacket is the fact that is like wool and it’s warm, with pockets and looks good with many things. The length is my favorite because is not so long.
